Abstract
This project deals with photo-documentation of ocular structures through an ocular of the Nikon Biomicroscope which was equipped with an electronic flash unit. A camera adaptor was developed and manufactured out of aluminum stock and fitted to the slit lamp. A standard camera back was attached to the adaptor/slit lamp and through this ocular photographs were taken to determine proper exposure settings for various illuminations used in documenting particular ocular structures. A manual of techniques was developed for the purpose of being a guide for an average practitioner desiring to do photodocumentation with a minimum of capitaJ outlay or extensive knowledge of photography. A catalogue of slides is included as examples of photographs taken using this developed method.
