15 February 1984

A formula, four worksheets, and several examples of completed worksheets are provided to help guide an administrative committee when considering: A. the effects of visual standard changes on the number of pilots accepted for training, B. weighing applicant visual scores in cases requesting waivers, c. changing a visual test (equipment), and D. changing a visual standard (cutoff score).
