Abstract
This paper is about research of high school students' motivation in Geometry. It studies students' intrinsic motivation levels and extrinsic motivation levels and factors. Data was collected by a Geometry teacher through her two Geometry classes in a rural high school. Key findings were that there are strategies that Geometry teachers can use to help with student motivation, but that motivation to do well is intrinsic and cannot be changed.
