1 January 1995

Educators have the tremendous responsibility of preparing students to work successfully and harmoniously with all types of people. Within this focus teachers, administrators and parents , produce a broad range of interpretation. No matter what lens from which a person views multicultural education, the end result entails broadening a student's understanding of his or her culture and an increased knowledge and appreciation of the various cultures of the world. This paper is an analysis of two elementary school teachers' use of multicultural education.
